BraveHeart Foundation was originally founded in the United States and has established partnerships with anti-trafficking organizations worldwide. Our team includes former U.S. law enforcement agents and military professionals who specialize in identifying, tracking, and rescuing victims of trafficking. By working together with governments, international agencies, and NGOs—including Interpol—we strive to bring perpetrators to justice and provide safe havens for survivors.
The scope of child trafficking has reached critical levels, with over 40 million victims worldwide, a significant number of whom are children. UNICEF USA reports that the buying and selling of children occurs in every country, including all 50 U.S. states. Child trafficking has increased 25% since COVID. Our research shows that more than half of child trafficking victims are trafficked within their own countries, while international trafficking typically targets neighboring, wealthier nations. Armed conflicts, economic instability, and weak legal frameworks have fueled an increase in trafficking cases, particularly in Eastern Europe. Many victims identified and rescued in the USA and other countries have been found to originate from Eastern Europe. Since COVID and the war in Ukraine, child trafficking has increased 25%.
Children face multiple forms of exploitation, including forced labor, crime, begging, illegal adoption, sexual abuse, and online exploitation. The complexity of these crimes requires sophisticated intervention strategies and sustained operational capacity.
