BraveHeart Foundation was founded by Mr. John Ramsey, a retired special agent in federal law enforcement with over 30 years of law enforcement experience at local, state and federal levels. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to protecting and serving his country and communities, with a particular focus on combating crime, strengthening law enforcement networks, and advocating for justice. Mr. Ramsey has held distinguished leadership roles in law enforcement organizations, including serving as a National Vice President of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association and as a board member for the International Council for Police Representatives Association. He currently serves as a board member for the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Foundation.
Mr. Ramsey has built an extensive domestic and international network within the law enforcement community, collaborating with agencies across the globe, including South Africa, Europe, Australia, and beyond. Under his leadership, BraveHeart Foundation has assembled an elite team of military professionals, former federal law enforcement agents, intelligence specialists, and human rights advocates, committed to identifying, tracking, and rescuing trafficked children while ensuring that perpetrators are held accountable within their respective jurisdictions.
Mr. Sam Hicks, co-founder of BraveHeart Foundation, is the founder of the Counter Human Trafficking Joint Task Force, which operates multiple anti-child trafficking taskforces around the world. He has planned and executed the rescue and move of oppressed individuals and families from multiple countries to include:
- Commanded the rescue of over 2,000 human trafficking victims internationally and over 1,000 arrests working in collaborations with NGO’s, HSI, Interpol, Foreign Agencies, and others.
- Established MOUs with senior government officials to build sustainable Task Forces in 7 countries.
- Personally operated in over 25 countries and established human networks in 30 countries for the recovery and extraction of victims.
- Established safe passageway and partnership to move civilians at the beginning of Russian Invasion of Ukraine.
